Prevention Basics 200: Promoting Evidence-based Prevention

This two-day classroom-based training will introduce strategies to promote evidence-based prevention with a variety of audiences. Providers will learn strategies for achieving success and overcoming barriers. This course is only open to Comprehensive Grant Program (CGP) Providers funded through the IL DHS Substance Abuse Prevention Program. Participants must successfully complete Prevention Basics University - Level 1 (PB101, PB102 and PB103) prior to participation in PB200.This training must be completed during the Provider's second year of employment. Please note that program staff should allow at least 6 months between completion of the PBU Level 1 training program and participation in the PBU 200-Level training program.
