FASD Symposium: Engaging the Faith Community in Preventing Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

Tuesday, June 21, 2011 - 08:30 AM - 03:00 PM

This one-day symposium will bring together the faith community and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) experts to learn about best practices and strategies to inform communities on FASD and its impact on the unborn child. This is a great opportunity to learn about FASD; its effects on individuals, families and communities; and how the faith community can help support local and statewide efforts to prevent FASD.

Participants will be able to increase their partnerships with other faith communities throughout the area to prevent FASD. Lunch will be provided.
