This online introductory webinar will review the applicable research and rationale behind YPE in the Comprehensive Grant Program. This webinar is followed by a mandatory one-day classroom-based training and also an optional one-day classroom-based training.

The purpose of these trainings is to prepare CGPs for implementation of Youth Prevention Education programs in the 100 level section of their Work Plan. Participants of this training program will walk away with a better understanding of all of the SAPP Model Program Options. Tips for familiarizing providers with new curricula will be stressed.

This 2 part training, with an optional third training, will satisfy the IDHS professional development requirement for YPE.
