I Can Problem Solve - LIMITED TIME OFFER
Tuesday, August 7 - Wednesday, August 8, 2012 - 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM
I Can Problem Solve (ICPS) is a universal school-based program that focuses on enhancing interpersonal cognitive processes and problem-solving skills of children ages 4-12. ICPS teaches children to understand their own as well as others’ feelings, think of alternative solutions and of potential consequences to an act. The program’s underlying goal is to help children learn how to think, not what to think.
Prevention First has secured a sponsorship to conduct the I Can Problem Solve (ICPS) training program free of charge to interested individuals and schools, waiving the $200 registration fee between now and October 31, 2012!
To take advantage of this special offer, participants will be expected to:
- Purchase a classroom training manual at $47.00
- Attend both days of the training program
- Implement the curriculum in the 2012-2013 school year
- Complete two program evaluation forms
- Participate in three one-hour follow-up conference calls
Can’t attend these offered training dates? To schedule training dates at your location, secure a commitment from a minimum of 10 school personnel in your school/district to attend the two-day program. Contact Julie Love at 800.252.8951, ext. 143 or email Julie.love@prevention.org prior to October 31, 2012 for more information.
