This training will provide WIC certifying Health Professionals with background information about the origins of the project, how to incorporate screening and brief intervention techniques into their counseling of pregnant women, demonstration of methods to engage prenatal women comfortably in discussion and intervention surrounding prenatal alcohol use as well as when and where to refer pregnant women to community resources to help them abstain from alcohol use if necessary..
