The Illinois Higher Education Center for Alcohol, Other Drug and Violence Prevention is located on the campus of Eastern Illinois University, and is the only statewide provider for higher education professionals dedicated to alcohol and other drug prevention. For over 20 years, IHEC has provided education, training, networking, and resources for implementing evidence-based practices in college alcohol and other drug prevention programs. Our services include CORE Alcohol and Drug Survey, Biennial Review, Quarterly Affiliate Meetings, monthly newsletters, white papers and research briefs, consultation visits, educational dvd’s, and continuing education credits from IAODAPCA.

This session will provide the participant with an overview of the unique purpose of IHEC and learn how to utilize some of our services and programs.
