Successful prevention efforts hinge on the readiness and capacity of the community. During this two-day training, Sub-Grant B providers will be introduced to a process for assessing community readiness to address prevention problems and strategies to build community capacity. Participants will also learn how to conduct a coalition assessment and use the results to develop a plan to improve coalition functioning.

*All SAPP Sub-Grant B providers are required to complete this course. Participants must complete the online course Overview of Strategic Planning prior to participating in this course. Overview of Strategic Planning can be found under Study Hall.
