The ABC’s of Alcohol Regulation

Alcohol, by its very nature, is no ordinary commodity and requires a strong set of rules and regulations to ensure it is manufactured, distributed, sold, and consumed in a responsible manner. This first webinar in the series will provide a broad overview of the alcohol regulatory framework and provide guidance on how communities can work to identify areas of concern and implement appropriate change within their community.
Objectives: Participants will:
- Understand the need for regulation of the alcohol beverage industry.
- Be able to identify the differences between individual and environmental strategies that address alcohol related issues within communities.
- Learn how to carefully assess their community and use data to identify contributing factors of alcohol related issues utilizing the strategic prevention framework.
