This one-day workshop will give participants an up to date foundation in understanding gender, gender roles, expression and identity terminology and will build their skills on creating and implementing inclusive practices in youth prevention work.

Objectives:

• To gain an understanding of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression;
• To learn inclusive practices for communication and youth engagement; and
• To gain a general understanding of how one’s lived experience can be impacted by race, ethnicity, culture, gender identity/expression, age, sexual orientation, class, and ability

Priority will be given to OAH Tier 1-B grantees for this training.
